"The success of the Scottish Seabird Centre follows the sound planning of our advisers. Their help was invaluable in the early days."

Rear Admiral Neil Rankin of the Scottish Seabird Trust

Strategy

The key to successful project delivery and sustainable long-term growth is a realistic, flexible and achievable strategy:

Scottish Seabird Centre

The Scottish Seabird Centre in North Berwick is one of the great success stories of Scotland's Millennium programme.
The project has won a number of important awards and visitors have flocked to its innovative, state-of-the-art interactive displays.

We worked with the original project sponsors to evaluate and develop the first concepts and dreams for the Seabird Centre, then joined the team that prepared and delivered the complex funding packages.

Our work continued with management assistance up to the point where the Centre's full-time management team were in place and briefed to take over.

Made In Scotland

We worked with Made In Scotland and their original funding agency, Highlands & Islands Enterprise, to determine a strategy for privatisation.

Several years on, Made In Scotland is in robust health, with an energetic and dynamic management team. Following our strategic plan, new facilities have been developed at their Beauly HQ and a second major trade show successfully launched.

High quality craft producers across Scotland continue to rely on Made In Scotland as their shop window to world buyers and its growth benefits many, many more small businesses.
